Другие производители готовятся: Ducati будет использовать новую систему регулировки высоты для всех велосипедов 2022 год

In the Sepang and Mandalika tests, Ducati unveiled yet another technological innovation in its motorcycles that sparked a debate among various members of the Motorcycle Sports Manufacturers Association (MSMA).

At the heart of the disagreement between manufacturers is the implementation of a system that adjusts the height of the Desmosedici front end in full swing, which causes the bike to move with a lower center of gravity when exiting a certain angle. The introduction of this system does not please all other brands, and efforts are being made to ban the use of this system for 2022.

However, Paolo Ciabatti assured Speedweek that the system would be used from the first race of the championship:

“We will definitely use this device from the beginning of the season in Doha. And probably in every driver with the Ducati GP22.

Thus, according to the sports director of Ducati Corse, the drivers who have access to this novelty are Jack Miller, Francesco Bagna, Johann Zarco, Jorge Martin and Luca Marini. All the rest - Enea Bastianini, Fabio Di Giannantonio and Marco Bezzecchi - will not be introduced because they do not use GP22.

It's important to remember that, according to Danny Aldridge, Technical Director of the Championship, Ducati is required to show the system to Qatar-only entrants for the purpose of validating and technically reviewing the rules. Until then, the FIM will only be able to act if other brands protest.
