Sports.ru designed camouflage football kit. Inspired by police troubles in Russian football

Hello, Alex Aksyonov here, Sports.ru editor-in-chief. Have you seen our marvellous football kit yet? We designed it for ourselves but we can offer something equally cool to you.

This Russian Premier League season has started in a festive mode and we were almost ready to put “We love RPL president” on our shirts but then things got back to, uhm, normal. Police have beaten up Spartak Moscow fans in Rostov and got into a brawl with Zenit St Petersburg supporters. No RPL officials have even bothered to explain what are they going to do to stop that.

We can still enjoy overhead kick goals and double saves by a defender all we want, but it’s much more comfortable to do so while not expecting to be attacked from behind. The problem with police in Russian football persists, and this is why we put a camouflage pattern on our kit. It’s not the only message though. You can also spot other symbols of true PRL greatness on it.
