Q & A. Part I

Hello everybody. I'm back with some questions that was sent to me. I'm sorry if i missed your question but if i didn't answer your question ask me again and i will try to answer it next time i do the question. And again sorry if i missed your question...

Who is your favorite baller? Do you like Jordan brand shoes? What is the most important for you when you choose new sneakers (style, comfort.... etc)? What are your favorite clothing brands? What do the tatoos on your arm mean?

My favorite baller is Allen Iverson. The things he does on the basketball court are unbelievable. I like his heart for the game and he plays every game hard.

Yes I like the Jordans to play in because they feel good on my feet. I had surgery on my foot 3 years ago and now i have to choose very comfortable shoes and the Jordans always feel the best for me. When I choose new sneakers first i have to like their style and then i will try them to see how they feel. If they feel good i will buy them.

My favorite clothing brand is Polo. I have many shirts from them because i like the fit. I like my clothes a little bigger and Polo shirts fit me just right. And of course i wear the urban clothes like Sean John, Rocawear, Enyce, Coogi, etc.

I have 13 tattoos in all. And i have 7 on my arms. 4 of them show my love for GOD. 1 represents where i'm from TEXAS. 1 is a panther, and the last is a hand holding a basketball.

Why didn't you leave our country? I always think you can play in stronger club.

The Russian league is becoming a very good league. So I wanted to come back and play in the Russian league again because it is filled with very good players and competition. I had offers from stronger clubs but I wanted to come back to Russia.

Have you been living in Russia for a year or longer? Do you study Russian? Do you enjoy Lyubertsy? And what do you think about your team?

Yes this is my second year living in Russia. No Russian is a hard to learn. I try to learn a little bit but it is so difficult and i'm not good at learning languages. My teammates teach me some and of course i hear the bad words all the time at practice, so i know them... haha. I haven't really been out to see Lyubertsy, most of the time if i go out to eat or something, i go to Moscow because i'm more familiar with places there. But Lyubertsy is a good city. I like my team. We are all cool with each other and we have good chemistry. I think we're going to be a dangerous team to play in the playoffs. We know it's going to be tough but we are preparing and we are going to play to win.

Who are you rooting for in the NBA? What did you think about Russia as a country before you arrived and what you think right now about Moscow? Have you ever tried to get into the NBA? Have you been drafted?

I'm rooting for the Mavs in the playoffs. I'm from Dallas so i have to represent my hometown team. With Jason Kidd I think they are going to have a good playoff. I want the Nuggets to advance far also just because Allen Iverson needs a championship, he deserves it.

Before I arrived to Russia, I didn't know what to think. When I arrived i was very surprised with what I saw because Moscow is a very nice city. With all the History they have here and the nice monuments and buildings. Moscow is a big city too... too big.

Yes I tried to get in the NBA after i finished my college career. My whole life i played the shooting guard position and when i went to try-out for some teams they put me at the point guard position. So it was new to me so i wasn't very good at leading a team and controlling the game. So they advised me to come play overseas and practice the point guard position because i had all the talent and abilities to be a great point guard. So once i came to Europe i learned the positon but i haven't tried to go back to the NBA because it all political and it doesn't matter to me anymore. It's just blessed to be playing basketball – period. And no i wasn't drafted. Oh i will tell Fedor Licholitov hello for you...
