Can you spell distraction? As Victoria Azarenka and Serena Williams prepare to battle it out at Arthur Ashe Stadium, Maria Sharapova is hardly glued to the television. Instead she's shifted gears and is attending the Victoria Beckham show at New York Fashion Week.

Sharapova hasn't exactly had a good week. First, news of her broken engagement went viral on the Internet. Then Victoria Azarenka knocked her out to go on to the U.S. Open finals later today.

But somehow Sharapova snagged a front-row seat next to Anna Wintour at the last minute. Rocking a white blazer and fire-engine red pants, the sultry tennis star looked effortlessly chic.

If Sharapova were in the finals she obviously wouldn't be at the show. But all the better for the Vogue editrix, who can now network and come up with a feature on the beautiful blonde.

Who needs tennis anyway?
