Marat Safin announced that his sister Dinara had decided to end her tennis player’s career.

«Dinara decided to retire. She isn’t too upset with this, she took it as the next stage in her life. She feels good and can live a normal everyday life, but cannot play sports.

«It’s too early to say what she will do. She was offered to become a commentator, but for the money she was offered – it won’t do. In our country people don’t appreciate professional approach. It was like a slap in the face.

«The main thing she has to understand now is who she is and where she is going. Dinara spent twenty years of her life in sports, now she needs a year to bring her mind into order. Then she will decide. She is only 25, so there’s no need to hurry her up,» said Safin according to RIA Novosti.
