Alexander Radulov: Nashville is pressing me for an answer, but I am focusing on the Gagarin Cup
Salavat Yulaev star forward Alexander Radulov in an interview to Sport-Express responded to the speculations about his possible return to the NHL.
«At the moment all my thoughts are focussed on the Gagarin Cup. The play-offs are the key part of the season, especially for Salavat, which has a good chance of repeating last year’s success. Once the season ends, I will sit down with my agents and discuss different ideas. Yes, it’s true that Nashville is putting some pressure on me, but all I am concerned with at the moment is Salavat,» the former Nashville Predators player claimed.
«Looking back to four years ago, my exit from Nashville was not the most graceful, but I never burned any bridges. So anything’s possible. But making predictions – 50/50, or 40/60 – is not for me. I am only 26 and I have won pretty much everything there is to win on this side of the ocean – World Cup, Gagarin Cup. But I do find myself thinking that my fine collection of trophies is lacking the big one – the Stanley Cup. I was in the play-offs twice, and twice got knocked out. I am not happy with that,» the player concluded.
