Come not between the dragon and his wrath
3 Nov 20:00 (MSK), Cardiff City vs. Swansea City
The South Wales derby is a football local derby between Welsh clubs Cardiff City and Swansea City and is regarded as one of the most fierce rivalries in British football. Despite both clubs being in Wales, they play in the English Premier League. The last South Wales derby to be played took place on 6 February 2011 in the Championship, which ended with a 1:0 win to Cardiff City at the Liberty Stadium in Swansea. The South Wales derby will take place in top-flight football for the very first time in the 2013/14 season following Cardiff City's promotion to the Premier League. Both clubs, especially Cardiff City, have a reputation when it comes to hooliganism. Cardiff fans turned up the heat by hacking the official Swansea website and replacing FANS section headlines with something more salacious. The respective supporters' trusts of Cardiff and Swansea have issued an early call for fans of the rival clubs to behave themselves at the next South Wales derby. However, it is hard to believe that one of the most violent derbies in Britain will go off without a hitch.
