Terek vice-president: We are not having any friendly match negotiations with Juventus

Khaidar Alkhanov, vice-president of Terek Grozny, has commented on the information that the Chechen club had reached an agreement with Serie A’s Juventus to play a friendly match at the opening of the new stadium in Grozny.

«We are not conducting any official negotiations with the Turin club,» said Alkhanov in an interview with Sport-Express.

«Is any other well-known club expected to take part in the opening ceremony?»

«As of now, I can’t give you any definite answer. The official announcement on this issue will be made at the end of the next week.»

It should be mentioned that Alkhanov did confirm the talks with Juventus to the press a week ago.
