Four RPL rounds to be played in December next season

The Russian Premier League organizational committee has announced it’s final draft of the calendar for next season’s RPL and the preliminary dates the rounds will be played in.

According to the RPL website, the tournament will begin on July 22 2012 and is to end on May 19, 2013, with a winter break in the middle.

Meanwhile, CSKA Moscow director general Roman Babaev, who took part in the meeting, confirmed some games will be played in December.

“Having considered the intensive schedule of the international players, we decided to hold four rounds of the RPL in December,” Babaev told R-Sport.
