Alex Ferguson: I expect Athletic to knock Lokomotiv out

Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson picked out Ahletic Bilbao as the favourite in the Europa League tie against Lokomotiv Moscow.

The winner of this fixture will face either United or Ajax in the next round of the competition.

«I expect Athletic to get through to the next round. And if we knock out Ajax, beating the Spanish side will be a tough challenge. Admittedly, there are a few top sides in the Europa League. Neither we, nor Manchester City expected to appear in this competition, but now that we are here, we want to get to the final. I wouldn’t mind if it was a derby,» the Man U boss told ESPN.
