Villas-Boas: Our meetings with Abramovich have been very positive

Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas has conceded the Premier League title is now beyond their reach, but confirmed his relationship with club’s Russian owner Roman Abramovich.

«Roman is always very interested in the running of events. At the moment [the relationship] has been very good, very positive. He is a good person to share knowledge with, ask questions and try to give answers regarding what I do,» – said Villas-Boas in a BBC interview.

«I think it’s legitimate, and would compare it to a normal club president-manager relationship,» the former Porto manager added, stressing that the club has to «dilute the damage» in the Premier League and try to finish fourth.
