Arshavin and Bilyaletdinov among those named as Vladimir Putin’s presidential campaign representatives

Arsenal midfielder Andrey Arshavin is among a number of prominent Russian figures and celebrities who were named as official representatives of Vladimir Putin in his presidential campaign.

The list of over 400 trustees also includes former Chelsea winger Yury Zhirkov, Ex-Everton midfielder Diniyar Bilyaletdinov, skater Yevgeny Plushenko and athlete Yelena Isinbayeva, according to the statement by the Central electoral committee.

The presidential elections in Russia will be held on the 4th of March this year.
