Yeni Safak: Senol Gunes can take charge of Anzhi
Trabzonspor head coach Senol Gunes is one of the candidates for head coach position at Anzhi, according to Yeni Safak newspaper.
According to the Turkish publication the Russian club decided to find a replacement for their interim coach Andrey Gordeev after the recent devastating defeat at the hands of CSKA Moscow (3:5) in the Russian Premier League.
Anzhi are reportedly considering two major candidates for this post – former Italy coach Marcello Lippi and Senol Gunes.
It’s worth noting that Trabzonspor are a rival of CSKA in the Champions League Group B, and next week these clubs will play each other in Trabzon.
