Jucilei: Some Corinthians players would like to join Anzhi

Anzhi midfielder Jucilei noted that his current club is drawing interest of his compatriots in Brazil, and also admitted some of his former teammates in Corinthians dream to pursue their careers in Russia.

«Do they ask you often about Anzhi in Brazil?»

«Of course! On the Internet they always ask how I’m doing here, and whether football in Russia is different from that in Brazil.»

«And what do you answer them?»

«In Brazil football more about the possession of the ball. Here focus there’s more emphasis on physical strength. You can see how often people tackle each other in Russia! I think football is more of a contact sport.»

«Are there any players among those you know who would also like to move to Anzhi?»

«Yes. For example, some guys from Corinthians. However, all of them have long term contracts. The club won’t let them go easily. But still I try to entice them telling how great it is in Russia. Here the club provides a football player total freedom and support, so he would play better. You just have to out and play!» the Brazilian said as quoted by Sport-Express.
