Dmitry Bulykin: My salary may well be the biggest in Belgium

Anderlecht foward Dmitry Bulykin who spent his last season on loan at ADO Den Haag has declared that he did not consider any offers from Russian teams.

«Who told you that I’m coming back to Russia? There are some offers from Russia, but for now I do not consider them. I want to play two or three years more in Europe. And then we will see how it goes.

«I wouldn’t be so sure that in Russia players earn more than in Europe. Ajax and PSV also pay good money. In fact, I have probably the biggest salary in Belgium,» Bulykin said on air of Russia 2 TV channel.

The high salary can really become an obstacle on his way out of Anderlecht. According to Bulykin’s agent his client’s transfer to Feyenoord had fallen through due to his financial requirements.

«I have met the representative of Feyenoord, but from the financial point of view this club cannot afford neither Bulykin’s transfer, nor his contract as such. He has a good contract and we will not agree to a lower one», Andrey Golovash stated to RIA Novosti news agency.

Meanwhile, Bulykin himself revealed that he has an option of moving to a major club. In an interview with Bobsoccer.ru he stated: «If we manage to reach an agreement with a top club – let’s call it this way for now – it would be excellent.»
