Rubin Kazan defender Cristian Ansaldi commented on his call-up to the national team of Argentina.
«Physical training coach Carlos Mendeiro called me and said: «Welcome to the team.» He did so on behalf of the head coach and the national football association. I need to be in Warsaw two days before the match. And now I’m in Kazan spending a short vacation here.»
«It seems that this invitation was a big surprise for you.»
«Yes, it really was! And it feels so nice that they remember me and follow my club matters. I’m going to the team, playing for which is a dream for any player in my country, the national team!» Ansaldi said in an interview with Sport-Express.
