Olga Zaitseva officially announces career continuation until 2014
Two-times Olympic champion Olga Zaitseva has officially announced she would continue her career, reported Sports.ru correspondent Irina Belozyorova. The Russian biathlete has said she plans to stay active until 2014 Sochi Olympics.
«The season was very difficult and after its end I announced my retirement. This decision was not a hasty one, I had been considering it for a long time.»
«Then I have had a rest, have talked it over with a lot of people, my relatives first of all. As a result, I have made a decision to continue my career until 2014,» Zaitseva stated at today’s press conference.
It should be reminded that after the unsuccessful relay race at the 2011 World Championships in Khanty-Mansiysk in a live interview on Russia 2 TV channel Zaitseva announced her decision to retire and focus on raising her child.
