Andrey Kirilenko: Bilbao knows how to play ball

CSKA Moscow star Andrey Kirilenko commented on his side’s Euroleague defeat in Bilbao, having won the first two games in the quarterfinal series against the Basque club.

«Bilbao are a vastly experienced team. They have a bunch of veterans who know how to play ball, and they proved that today,» the former Utah Jazz forward admitted.

«They scored four tries in a row in the first few minutes and felt like it was their day. They pressed on and we couldn’t stop them. We did well in attack, reaching the 80 point mark. Usually that’s enough to win, but we conceded way to many points, which is uncharacteristic for us,» the Russian star told Sports.ru.
