Following the announcement by Loris Cresson at Pedercini Racing, the rider line-up for the 2022 WSBK season was all but closed, although there is still a possibility that the Italian team will have a second bike. Since there is no date for this, it can be said that this year's championship bracket is already closed with some changes.

As for the Kawasaki and Yamaha factory teams, there are no changes. Both structures will retain their drivers, but the same cannot be said for Ducati, BMW and Honda. In Italy, Alvaro Bautista is back in Borgo Panigale and this market movement has led Scott Redding to switch to BMW. Michael Ruben Rinaldi and Michael wer der Mark remain with their producers. As for the HRC team, the team chose to sign Iker Lecuona and Javi Vierge in the form of Bautista, who returned to Ducati. Leon Haslam, on the other hand, had to return to BSB.
