Moto2 и Moto3 поднимают планку: рекорды Портимао опустошены в тестах
Testing for the Moto2 and Moto3 World Championships at the Algarve International Circuit is over and the bar is high for the Portuguese Grand Prix. In both categories, their respective all-time records were broken on the track.
At the Moto2 World Championship, Pedro Acosta became the new record holder. Newcomer Red Bull KTM Ajo completed his best lap in these tests at 1m41552s, almost half a second lower than the previous record set by predecessor Raul Fernandez in the Finnish team in 2021 (1:42.01s). Augusto Fernandez (Red Bull KTM Ajo) and Aron Canet (Flexbox HP40) were also below that mark.
As for Moto3, Sergio Garcia (GasGas Aspar) has set Portimão's all-time record since last year at 1:47.274. On Monday in tests, the mark surpassed two riders. Dennis Foggia (Leopard Racing) was the first and only lap to complete a 1:46 lap at the Algarve - 1:46,990, about three tenths short of the best lap ever. Andrea Mignot (Rivacold Snipers) also surpassed the previous record, but remained at 1:47,042 seconds.
