Alessandro Rosina: I may leave Zenit on a loan deal
Zenit St. Petersburg out-of-favour midfielder Alessandro Rosina in an interview to Sports Daily complained about the lack of first team action and indicated he may look for a loan move to another club.
«I am not playing enough matches and that is the main problem. I have to play football to show my worth, but it’s not happening. I am confident that I can bring a lot to the team, but I am unable to do so in the five or ten minutes, coming on as a sub. Another problem is the pitch: the playing surface at our home stadium is not great,» said the 28-year-old Italian.
«I want to play, so at the end of the season I will sit down with the coach and we will decide what is the best course of action in this situation. I have another 18 months on my contract, so perhaps they will loan me to another club, or I could move on a permanent basis if a club makes an offer. Zenit are a great side, I am very excited to be a part of it, but I just don’t get enough time on the pitch. I am 28 years old, at the peak of my career, so I can’t afford to sit on the bench now,» the former Torino forward explained.
