Deividas Semberas: CSKA can progress into the quarterfinals

CSKA Moscow veteran midfielder Deividas Semberas insisted his club has a chance of making the quarterfinals ahead of their Champions League 1/8 final second leg with Real Madrid.

«I am optimistic about the future. Of course, Real has a slightly bigger chance, but we can get through to the next stage,» the 33-year-old Lithuanian claimed.

«As for [CSKA newcomers – Sports.ru] Wernbloom and Musa, they adapted perfectly in the team and performed brilliantly in their debut matches. I just wish the to carry on in the same vein,» the Red Army anchorman added.

CSKA’s return leg against Real will be played at the Santiago Bernabeo on Wednesday March 14.
