Leonid Slutsky: I am not expecting any gifts from Mourinho

CSKA Moscow boss Leonid Slutsky spoke about his relationship with Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho, whose Real Madrid the Moscow club will be facing in the Champions League return leg in March.

«Mourinho and I talked before the game, and after the game. He was very friendly and good-spirited, but he was completely different during the match. It’s nothing we haven’t seen before.»

«Was he putting on a front?»

«I don’t know if it is a front, or the real Mourinho. He said himself that the game ends, «not at the final whistle, but after the press-conference». It’s just another battlefield for him.»

«And you gave him caviar and vodka…»

«Yes, it’s a tradition.»

«Two years ago it was just vodka»

«Unlike me, he doesn’t have a weight problem. So he is allowed to indulge himself a little.»

«And what did he give you?»

«Nothing, he was the guest, not me.»

«So are you expecting to get the return present in Madrid?»

«I don’t expect any gifts,» Slutsky told Sport-Express.

The return game will be played in Madrid on March 14.
