Luciano Spalletti: We know Arshavin’s strengths, but he has to work for the team

Zenit St. Petersburg manager Luciano Spalletti commented on Andrey Arshavin’s loan move to from Arsenal to the Russian club.

«It so happened that one of our key players got injured, so we replaced him with another big player. Everyone knows Andrey’s strengths: he has a great technical ability, he plays quickly and intuitively, he can create a chance out of nothing. What we need to do now is to transfer those qualities onto the pitch, so that they enhance Zenit’s team performance. Our team has a very good balance of attacking and defensive strengths and I don’t want us to lose it,» Spalletti told Zenit’s official website.
