Pontus Wernbloom: I can’t wait for CSKA derby match with Spartak Moscow

CSKA Moscow newcomer Pontus Wernbloom shared his thoughts on his club’s upcoming Champions League play-off fixture against Real Madrid and the derby with Spartak Moscow.

«Our team’s style of play is all about discipline and teamwork. We are similar to English clubs in our direct attacking approach and speed. In Holland teams tend to pass around without going for goal much.»

«As for the national league, one of our first matches will be against league leaders Zenit, who are six points ahead of us. I think our chances for the title are good. I am also well aware of the derby’s importance, so I can’t wait to play Spartak.»
