Flamengo intend to sign CSKA’s Vagner Love in winter

Flamengo will try to sign CSKA Moscow striker Vagner Love during the winter transfer window, Terra reported.

According to the newspaper, the Russians intend to gain some $17 million (30 million Brazilian reals) from Vagner’s transfer. The Brazilian club expects to reduce the amount of transfer by including striker Diego Mauricio and midfielder Negueba into the deal.

Vagner had announced his intension to leave CSKA in the near future. The president of the club Yevgeny Giner commented on that by saying the club would be ready to let with striker go, if there came a good proposal.

Flamengo already tried to bring Vagner back home in the sumer, but failed to meet CSKA’s financial requirements.

This season, Vagner took part in 24 games in the Russian Premier League, scoring 8 goals.
