Rubin’s Christian Noboa linked to Sevilla

Rubin Kazan midfielder Christian Noboa may be one of the transfer targets for Sevilla FC. His agent Jorge Guerrero revealed that the Ecuadorian has been drawing interest from a number of European clubs, including Los Rojiblancos.

«I ran across some reports that there’s interest for Noboa from Sevilla. However, the general problem isn’t about how many clubs are interested in signing Christian, but rather about how much they can pay to Rubin.

«It isn’t a single one – there are ten or fifteen clubs who would like to see Noboa in their squad. But the unilateral termination fee in his contract makes $20 million,» Guerrero said as quoted by Furbolecuador.com.

Noboa himself also commented on the alleged interest from the Spanish club.

«It’s flattering, but let’s wait for a couple of months. Let’s do all the talking after the season ends. In any case, I am ready to fulfill my contract for another year in Kazan. I’m happy here, it’s true. I’m content with everything, but the Spanish league is really exciting. Sevilla are a serious club. However, it’s up to Rubin to decide whether they will let me go to Spain or not,» Noboa said to Sport-Express.
