Smoking to be prohibited at Russian football stadiums

Viktor Ozerov, chairman of the Safety and Supporters Committee of the Russian Football Union (RFS), said that the country’s football authorities will launch a struggle against smoking at Russian stadiums.

«The spectators will be prohibited from smoking in the stands, except for specially designated places, will be forbidden for the spectators. It will also apply to VIP boxes and press boxes.

«Also, the fans will be able to stand when watching a game, only if they agree beforehand with the spectators nearby and they confirm such behaviour doesn’t cause them discomfort. And, of course, it will be impossible to stamp your feet on the plastic armchairs and their backs», Ozerov said as quoted by RIA Novosti.
