Russian TV channel will re-broadcast Premier League game after match fixing allegations

NTV-Plus, official broadcaster of the Russian Premier League, have made a decision to change its program grid and rebroadcast the Russian Premier League Matchday 11 game between Lokomotiv Moscow – Anzhi Makhachkala (1:2) after match fixing rumors resurfaced yesterday.

As Sports.ru already reported, Lokomotiv coach Yuri Krasnozhan may be fired one of these days, being suspected by the club president Olga Smorodskaya of deliberately organizing the defeat.

The game will be aired twice on Nash Futbol TV channel – on Sunday at 19.35 MSK and on Monday at 15.05 MSK.

«We have made such a decision because the interest to this topic is huge,» said Vasily Utkin, head of NTV-Plus sports division. «The audience will have a possibility to watch the game by themselves and shape its own opinion. It should be noted, though, that NTV-Plus has no position on the matter in question.»
