Не верю, что имеет в виду доклад МакЛарена :):):)
И всяк в ожиданьи не рад.
Но что он готовил
И что приготовил
Всё будет "на раз" невпопад.

Photo shows officials, sponsors and team owners of the Philippine Mavericks during Season 2 of the IPTL. They are, from left, Christopher John Quimpo, Smart sports marketing; Gary Dujali, VP and head of PLDT home marketing; Edgar Tejerero, president, SM lifestyle entertainment; Abhishek Ponia, VP for operations, IPTL; Jean Henri Lhuillier, team manager and co-owner of Mavericks, and Haresh Hiranand and Kevin Belmonte also co-owners of the Mavericks.
MANILA, Philippines – Owners of the Philippine Mavericks pulled out of this year’s International Premier Tennis League Season 3, citing IPTL’s failure to honor its previous commitment to the team and the league internal problems.
The group, owned by an international consortium locally led by businessmen Jean Henri Lhuillier, Haresh Hiranand, Kevin Belmonte and the SM Group, decided to skip this year’s staging of the event which features the world’s top players in a novel format during a meeting at the Manila Polo Club recently where they also drew up plans for the Mavericks in 2017.
They said they’re happy with their decision not to allow the IPTL to hold an event in Manila this year, forcing the IPTL to trim its regular five-leg circuit to three for Season 3.
Originally, the Philippines was still part of IPTL Season 3 but certain commitments by the league to the Phl Mavericks franchise for the previous season were not met, forcing the team owners to skip this year’s IPTL staging.
The IPTL also announced its Season 3 schedule and tickets selling date only last month while assuring that Roger Federer and Serena Williams would play in India.
But the league yesterday said that Federer and Williams would not suit up, frustrating the fans and ticket-buyers.
“This is the exact situation that the Philippine Mavericks was trying to avoid as we knew there were so many internal problems within the IPTL organization this year,” said Lhuillier.
He also dispelled reports that came out in international newspapers, citing political turmoil and financial constraints on the part of the Mavericks as reasons they didn’t put up a team this season.
“That is far from the truth, the Philippine Mavericks have always been ready to join the IPTL right from the start and committed for the long haul,” said Lhuillier.
“As for the political turmoil, we as businessmen know very well to say the business and political climate in the country is sound enough to stage an IPTL leg,” said Hiranand.
The Mavericks saw action in the 2014 inaugural season with no less than global superstars Maria Sharapova and Andy Murray in its fold along with Filipino star Treat Huey.
Williams bannered the Mavericks last year along with Milos Raonic and Huey.
Last season also marked the debut of Rafael Nadal in the Philippines and, who like Sharapova, Williams and Murray, was surprised and impressed with the big crowd that showed up at SM Mall of Asia.
“For the past two years, the Philippine Mavericks’ campaign in the IPTL has been tradition for Philippine tennis and you can’t discount the effect it had on the local scene,” said Belmonte.
“It brought in the superstars that Filipino fans can only watch play on TV,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Mavericks owners’ also said that if “IPTL would be able to show the Philippine Mavericks that it has fixed its internal problems and fulfill its commitments to the team for Season 2, then we may reconsider joining next year.”

MOSCOW -- Even before Friday’s publication of a new report into alleged state-sponsored doping by Russian athletes, Russia and the World Anti-Doping Agency are bickering.
WADA is upset because it was not consulted before a new board was picked to oversee reforms at the suspended Russian drug-testing agency, known as RUSADA. The board is chaired by pole vault great and WADA critic Yelena Isinbayeva.
Isinbayeva, who retired after Russia’s track and field team was banned from this year’s Olympics over doping concerns, has said WADA’s findings are unproven and is expected to try to persuade WADA to lift RUSADA’s suspension.
WADA said the move broke an agreement that it would have a say on major appointments before they were announced.
"We will be addressing concerns directly with the Russian authorities to ensure that we can establish a code compliant anti-doping organization that can withstand international scrutiny," WADA said in a statement. "WADA had expected to be consulted regarding important matters such as the terms of reference of the board as well as the core structure of the agency before the public appointment of persons to these roles, as was outlined in the core requirements of the roadmap provided to RUSADA in November."
Isinbayeva became a member of the International Olympic Committee in August and is a candidate for president of the suspended Russian track and field federation.
She is already a member of the IOC, but not of its executive board, which ruled Wednesday to extend sanctions on Russia ahead of Friday’s publication of the second part of WADA investigator Richard McLaren’s report on doping cover-ups in the country.
Isinbayeva, who was appointed to the RUSADA board Wednesday, has said McLaren’s accusations against Russia are unproven and called for athlete-turned-whistleblower Yulia Stepanova to be banned for life.
"We were suspended without proof, insolently, crudely," Isinbayeva said in a tearful speech at the Kremlin in July. "We were not given a chance to justify ourselves."
Besides Isinbayeva, the new 10-person board also contains a senior sports ministry official, Vadim Bairamov, despite repeated assurances by the Russian government in recent months that it was trying to cut ties between RUSADA and the ministry, where other senior officials have been accused of covering up hundreds of failed doping tests.
As well as managing relations with WADA, Isinbayeva’s supervisory board will also choose RUSADA’s chief executive at a meeting later this month.
President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, said the Russian authorities would back their clean athletes. He also criticized McLaren’s work to date.
"The Kremlin is ready for thorough and active work to protect the interests of our athletes who have never had anything to do with doping," Peskov said. "The Kremlin is ready to listen to detailed information about claims that can be made in such documents. There was no detailed information before, and many accusations were quite abstract."
The International Paralympic Committee, which banned Russia from this year’s Games over doping concerns, said Thursday that former UK Anti-Doping chief executive Andy Parkinson will head a task force to assess whether Russia is ready to be readmitted.
Parkinson, currently the head of British Rowing, will lead a five-person group. The IPC said last month that the Russian Paralympic Committee must cut ties with the government and "adequately address the findings of the McLaren Report."

In 1971 the International Olympic Committee (IOC) changed the “amateur status” requirement for Olympic participation to allow athletes who receive sponsorships and endorsement deals to participate, i.e., professional racers could take part. However, it was 1978 before the Ted Stevens Act enabled the adoption of the IOC rule to apply to U.S. Alpine competitors.
According to Christine Feehan’s May 2015 Ski Racing article (Feehan once coached at Killington), ski racing prize money lags such sports as cricket, bullriding and payouts for jockeys, and almost equals that of professional dart players. It beats out surfing and bowling prize money but is a far cry from what tennis champs like Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova take home annually. The 2014-15-season prize money saw $340,000 for Lindsey Vonn and $321,650 for Shiffren.
According to the FIS website, top 2015-16 winnings after all 40 races were Vonn ($430,00+), Gut ($380,000+), Shiffren ($230,650), and Viktoria Rebensburg ($228,000+). That was with Vonn and Schiffen not competing in all races due to injuries.
After the Killington races, Shiffren leads with 165,000 CHF (Swiss francs, which is slightly more in American dollars); Tessa Worley (French GS winner) has 94,000; and Nina Loeseth (Norway, 2nd place GS) 57,000 while 32nd place Resi Stiegler (U.S., 17th Slalom) has 3,500 CHF. (Vonn is currently out with a broken arm suffered in training.)
There is no prize money for athletes in the Olympics. However, the five richest American Olympians at Sochi 2014 Winter Games according to Bankrate.com estimates were: Shaun White with net worth of $20 million from endorsements and majority share of the Air and Style Snowboard Competition; Bode Miller at $8 million from endorsement deals; Ted Ligety, $2 million from winnings, endorsement deals, and his share of Shred Optics (goggles, sunglasses, helmet company he founded); Hannah Teter, $1 million from sponsors and Sweet Cheeks (her underwear line); and Lindsay Jacobellis, $1 million from sponsorships and endorsements.
Lindsey Vonn didn’t compete at Sochi due to injuries, but reports show a net worth of around $3 million at that time while more recent reports (2013) indicate $25 million. Other recent reports show Vonn’s annual income around $5-$6 million a year from endorsement deals, sponsorships, and winnings.
