One per cent of Rio 2016 athletes had TUEs
A total of 143 TUEs were granted before Rio 2016, which equates to one per cent of the 11,303 athletes who took part.

Richard Pound is back. "We should congratulate Russia on the appointment of Vitaly as the chair of this commission - he has a very fine reputation internationally and at home," he says.
He is now calling on him to use his domestic influence to educate people that these commissions are in place to help.
Pound has urged Russia to acknowledge their problems rather than deny them. Smirnov has just claimed they have "never had a state-sponsored system".

Sanctions should not be imposed by WADA. Sanctions should be imposed by CAS.
