Five Russians start playing at Roland Garros today
Five Russian tennis players – one man and four women – will start competing today at the French Open.
Teimuraz Gabashvili will play Andreas Seppi from Italy in the men’s tournament at 11.00 CET.
In women’s tournament on court No. 1 the champion of Roland Garros 2009 Svetlana Kuznetsova will play Magdalena Rybarikova from Slovakia. On court No. 2 Vera Dushevina will encounter the Australian Jelena Dokic. The matchday on court No. 17 will be opened by Alla Kudryavtseva playing Simona Halep from Romania and closed by Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova (seeded 14th) against Yaroslava Shvedova from Kazakhstan.
