Sharapova pleased despite losing Australian Open final

Russian tennis player Maria Sharapova announced that she is pleased with her performance at the Australian Open despite losing the final match to Victoria Azarenka.

«Hi everyone! It’s been a great couple of weeks despite the loss. Thank you to all my fans here in Australia who have been so supportive and cheerful during my matches,» wrote the former world number 1 on her Facebook wall.

«I can’t believe I have been here for a whole month already, is that long enough to pick up an Australian accent?

«It’s finally time for me to pack up my summer dresses and get those big fluffy winter jackets out for my trip to Moscow! Brrr!!
