Alexander Medvedev: Slovan and Donbass will definitely be in the KHL next season

KHL president Alexander Medvedev confirmed that Slovan Bratislava and Donbass Donetsk are to join the league from next season.

“Slovan will definitely be in the KHL, and we also made an exception for Donetsk, even though they can’t do 5.5 thousand at the moment. Milan also wants to join, but nothing has been decided yet,” the league’s chief told R-Sport.

Earlier it was confirmed that another side, Lev Prague (formerly of Poprad) will also be accepted into the competition.
