Ufa junior Vasilevsky to make the first round NHL draft?

Andrey Vasilevski, the junior Russian goaltender, who impressed in the 2012 World Junior Championship, helping the Russian team take the silver medals, may be picked in the first round of the NHL draft this year.

According to NHL expert Mike Morrial, the Tolpar (Salavat Yulaev’s affiliate) goaltender will be drafted along with other top picks, including Quebec Remparts Russian duo Nail Yakupov and Mikhail Grigorenko.

Another possible target could be Yukopov’s club-mate Alex Galchenyuk, who is part-Russian, the expert claimed.
