Red Wings take Russian junior goalie Sadikov on trial

Russian junior goaltender Ramis Sadikov has received an invite to Detroit Red Wings prospects camp, which begins September 10 in Michigan, The Windsor Star reports.

Sadikov, currently playing for junior side Erie Otters, is coming off one of the top seasons for a goaltender in Otters history, posting a save percentage of .912 and a 2.88 goals-against-average in a team-record 36 wins.

Despite not getting drafted in the past two NHL Entry Drafts, Sadikov will compete for the Wings in the well-known Traverse City Prospects Tournament.
