Reports: Krikunov and Shavaleev to remain at Ak Bars for another two seasons

Ak Bars head coach Vladimir Krikunov and vice-president Ravil Shavaleev will remain in Kazan for at least another two seasons, Sportlar claims, citing its sources within the club.

According to the report, the duo met Ak Bars president Shafagat Takhautdinov before the play-offs finished to discuss their future and were promised that their future at the club is guaranteed, no matter what this season’s results are like.

Earlier Krikunov suggested that he doesn’t yet know, where his future lies, despite having two more years on his current deal.
