Malkin scores 200th league goal and earns record-equalling five points against Winnipeg
Pittsburg Penguins star Yevgeny Malkin scored his 200th league goal as his side thrashed Winnipeg 8-4 in the NHL on Wednesday.
The Russian forward scored two himself and made three assists, putting himself 9 points clear of his rivals in the goal-scoring charts.
It was also the fourth time Malkin earned five points during an NHL match this season, an achievement that was last seen in the NHL in 1996, when hockey legend Mario Lemieux did the same.
The Penguins star now has 93 (43-50) points this season.
