Alexander Medvedev: We cannot put an «iron curtain» over Radulov

KHL president Alexander Medvedev responded to the speculations of Ufa forward Alexander Radulov’s possible departure from Russia and a return to the KHL.

«It’s a difficult situation with Radulov. When he left the NHL, he didn’t have an agreement with a Russian club – he was simply escaping his contract with the Predators. He is flying in to Moscow on Wednesday to discuss everything with us. We wouldn’t want to lose our biggest star, of course. He is the face of the KHL and of Russian hockey in general. But we cannot block a possible move with an «iron curtain,» the head of the league told Sovetsky sport.
