Traktor’s Kuznetsov insists decision on his NHL future will depend on the World Cup

Traktor Chelyabninsk forward Yevgeny Kuznetsov admitted his decision on whether to move to the NHL will be based on the outcome of the hockey World Cup.

«You are probably tired of hearing this question, but will you move to America next year?»

«I am tired of it, yes. Mainly because I am not sure about it myself. When the time comes, I will reveal everything. At the moment I try not to think about it. If I don’t get into the World Cup squad, I will decide sooner, but if I do go, I will try to give my best and will deal with the NHL offer afterwards.»

«You got 49 points in 45 matches so far. I you pleased with your game at the moment?»

«I can’t succeed all the time. There will be mistakes, I just have to learn from them and improve. I am not euphoric; I try to keep my feet on the ground. I want to get better,» the rising KHL star told Sportbox.ru.
