NY Islanders’ goaltender Nabokov refutes reports of trade deal

New York Islanders Russian goaltender Evgeny Nabokov rejected reports in the press that other clubs could trade for him.

«I am not thinking about the future at the moment, but I like what I see in the Islanders’. Our club is moving in the right direction,» Nabokov told Newsday.

According to the player, he has a clause in his contract that prevents the club from trading him without his permission, but he didn’t tell the club that he wants to be put on the market.
