Alexander Ovechkin: The Capitals intend to win the Stanley Cup

The Washingon Capitals captain Alexander Ovechkin, currently serving a three game ban, insisted his team is intent on winning the Stanley Cup this year.

«No, I was on a beach and only followed the news on the web. I had a great time! I gave my body and mind a rest, so that I can come back to ice all refreshed after my ban ends. Tough times are ahead for Washington, so we need to be in top form, because every point counts. It will be hard to get into the play-offs, but we a set on winning the Cup.»

«But how can you improve with your ban and Nicklas Backstrom’s and Mike Green’s injuries?»
