Washington Capitals captain Alexander Ovechkin has spoken about his game and stats. At the moment Ovechkin ranks 76th in points with 24 (11+13) totals after 33 matches.

«Why am I shooting less? That’s a good question. Maybe an answer on my scoring slump... I chat to guys from many teams. They’re being prepared for me before the match. Sure, they know me too well. I’m trying to change. I switch flanks. Try some other tricks. I’m learning and trying to do better», Ovechkin said as quoted by Sovsport.
