CSKA sign contract with Nikita Filatov
Russian forward Nikita Filatov signed a contract with CSKA Moscow until the end of this season, the club’s official website of the club.
His former club, the Ottawa Senators, have retained all rights to Filatov in the NHL. This season the 21-year-old Russian chalkerd up one assist in 9 games of the regular NHL season and 12 (7+5) points in 15 matches of the regular AHL season.
Filatov played for CSKA during the 2009-2010 season. In 26 regular season games he scored 22 (9+13) points, and made an assist in three playoff games.
«We are very glad to see Nikita return to his native club. He is one of the most talented young Russian hockey players. Everyone knows Filatov’s strengths. He has high speed and very good technique. We believe Nikita will be a great addition to our offensive line,» CSKA general manager Sergey Nemchinov said.
