Russia announce squad for Channel One Cup

Head coach of the Russian national team Zinetula Bilyaletdinov has announced the team’s squad for the next stage of the Euro Hockey Tour – the Channel One Cup. The list inludes 23 players (two goaltenders, eight defencemen and thirteen forwards):

Goaltenders: Konstantin Barulin (Atlant), Mikhail Biryukov (Yugra).

Defencemen: Konstantin Korneyev, Ilya Nikulin (both – Ak Bars), Denis Denisov, Denis Grebeshkov, Dmitri Kalinin (all – SKA), Nikolay Belov (Neftekhimik), Yevgeny Biryukov (Metallurg Mg), Ivan Vishnevsky (Atlant).

Forwards: Sergey Shirokov, Ilya Zubov (both – CSKA), Viktor Tikhonov, Igor Makarov (both – SKA), Vadim Shipachev (Severstal), Alexey Tereshchenko, Yevgeny Bodrov (both – Ak Bars), Alexander Perezhogin (Vanguard), Denis Kokarev (Dynamo Moscow), Vladimir Tarasenko (Sibir), Enver Lisin (Metallurg Mg), Alexander Radulov (Salavat Yulaev ), Nikolay Zherdev (Atlant).
