Jaromir Jagr’s agent: Thoresen’s move to SKA precludes us from considering the same

Jaroslav Zidek, agent of Czech forward Jaromir Jagr, has denied the information about his client’s alleged negotiations with Atlant Mytishchi and has revealed that Jagr does not consider the option of moving to SKA St. Petersburg any more.

«I can tell you that I haven’t met any representatives of Atlant and even had no telephone conversations with them.

«I can only confirm that after Patrick Thoresen’s move to SKA we don’t have the option of joining the St. Petersburg club any more,» stated the agent as quoted by Sport-Express.

It is also unlikely that Jagr will renew his contract with Avangard Omsk, for whom he has been playing recently. According to the same source, salary expectations of the Czech exceed the Avangard’s offer by half. Therefore, the parties still fail to reach agreement and the probability of contract signing is little.
