Qualification for the 2030 World Cup with teams divided into two levels
June-July 2029
Spain and Portugal, as hosts of the World Cup, automatically qualify for the final part of the tournament.
Based on the results of the last UEFA Nations League, the remaining 53 teams are divided into two levels.
Qualification for Level 1 teams
Depending on their positions, all teams are divided into groups according to the following scheme:

UEFA Nations League
The A, B, C, and D leagues have 12 teams each.
They will play their individual League tournaments according to the new system in force in the UEFA Champions League.
The teams will be divided into four baskets, three teams each, based on the results of the last UEFA Nations League.
The division of 12 teams into baskets will be based on the following principles:
1st shopping cart------1-3 .
2nd basket--------------4-6.
3rd basket---------------7-9.
4th basket--------------10-12.
Each of the 12 League teams will play eight matches, four at home and four away, (one game at home and one away against two different opponents (by жребий) from each of the four baskets).
The computer generates the schedule of all 48 matches for each of these 4 Leagues.
Criteria for allocating places in Leagues A, B, C, and D
1. The number of points earned in the 8 League matches;
2. The difference between the number of goals scored and the number of goals conceded in the 8 matches;

The team that finishes first in League A is awarded the UEFA Nations League Cup and gold medals.
The teams that finish second and third in League A receive the UEFA Nations League silver and bronze medals.

They are replaced by the top three teams in League B, which finish first, second, and third.

The two teams hosting the European Championship will automatically qualify for the tournament, regardless of their performance in the UEFA Nations League.
They will not have any special privileges during the draw.
