Spartak Moscow in chase of Ajax midfielder Demy de Zeeuw

Spartak Moscow are reportedly interested in signing Ajax midfielder Demy de Zeeuw. The representatives of the Russian club are believed to have already arrived in the Netherlands for the negotiations, according to De Telegraaf.

The Moscow-based club has been following the player for some time, but their interest seems to have grown after the Europa League round-of-sixteen tie, where Spartak eventually eliminated the Dutch.

The amount of the possible deal isn’t known yet.

This season De Zeeuw has played 26 matches in the Dutch Eredivisie, having scored one goal.
