Spartak Moscow may be docked three points or play without spectators after fan clashes in Samara
Head of the Russian FA’s Ethics Committee Alu Alkhanov has spoken about possible punishment, which may be imposed on Spartak Moscow for the misconduct of their fans during the Premier League Matchday 9 game against Krylia Sovetov Samara (1:0).
«It is by far not the first incident caused by acts of hooliganism from Spartak fans. We have already imposed administrative penalties and fines on them time and again. Perhaps, more severe measures will follow this time after the investigation, their list is given in the Technical Regulations of the Russian Football Union (RFU). These can be matches without spectators or even a technical defeat.»
«I am sure this incident will be investigated not only at the RFU, but also at Spartak. We have to understand why most problems involve supporters of this club,» stated Alkhanov as quoted by RIA Novosti.
