Sports Daily: Spartak is in talks with Marcello Lippi
According to the Russian newspaper Sports Daily, Spartak Moscow is currently negotiating with the former Italy national coach Marcello Lippi concerning his possible work at the club as head coach.
The 63-year-old Italian took Italy to the World Cup title in 2006, and also won five Serie A titles and the Champions League with Juventus. Lippi is also the first coach in the history of Italian football to win both the World Cup and the Champions League. He also won the Italian Cup, UEFA Supercup, Intrecontinental Cup and four Italian Supercups.
Lippi has been named three times the Italian coach of the year, as well as being named the world’s best coach by the various media on numerous occasions.
